Overview.
This is a unique comprehensive 10 days adventure in a magnificent nation, Kenya; exploring the untouched nature, variety of cheerful mammal species and lively birdlife. The destinations covered in this safari offer unique attractions ranging from verdant wildlife, friendly climate and melodramatic landscape. This offer gives you a chance of having unmatched game encounters, including the sought-after Africa big 5 in Masai Mara national park; the magnificent Amboseli national park, Samburu Game reserve, and Lake Nakuru national park.
Activities include game drive, sight-seeing, photography, bird watching, and cultural encounter among others. This trip starts and ends in Nairobi Kenya, with transport, accommodation all-inclusive and meals catered for.
Detailed tour.
Day 1: Arrival and an optional Nairobi city tour.
Depending on the agreed pickup point, our company representative will gladly meet and welcome you for this 10 days’ unforgettable vacation across the magical land of Kenya. The briefing will be done, followed by a tour around the magnificent Nairobi city; one of Kenya’s main cities.
There you will visit the museum, historic places, local markets and restaurants for lunch. In the evening, you will drive to the hotel for refreshment, a lip-smacking lunch meal and a nap.
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park – afternoon boat cruise.
In high spirits, start your day with breakfast, before checking out of the lodge for a drive to Amboseli national park; decorated by the breathtaking backdrop of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro; Africa’s highest mountains. You will enjoy the breathtaking view of the landscape and vegetation to the park, where you will arrive for lunch.
Thereafter, you will proceed with a guided nature walk, while taking photos and enjoying the scenic view of the sun setting on Mountain Kilimanjaro, herds of elephants, and several other park residents. End this day with dinner and a night of peaceful sleep.
Day 3: Full day game drive.
Very early in the morning, you will get to the park for a remarkable full-day game drive experience. The morning captivating sunrise reveals the beauty hidden in the park, and its great Kilimanjaro Mountain backdrop; where the ice-capped peak will be extremely dope. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetah among others are present in this park, inclusive of Herds of elephants and many more. Your eyes will always get stuck to the captivating view of the breathtaking landscape.
The park is known as a royal court of Kilimanjaro, and one of Kenya’s top travel destinations. There will be a lunch break, and relaxation, before an afternoon encounter will the enchanting wildlife. After the days’ adventure, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Samburu Game Reserve.
At daybreak, you will enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge and then hit the road in the northern direction to the semi-Arid Samburu region. There will be lunch stopover enroute, whereas the drive to the park traverses unique rolling hills and green vegetation. You will check in to your lodge upon arrival for some refreshment, followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day Game drive.
With rare and common faces notably; hyenas, lions, rare Antelope species, giraffes, and Grevy’s zebra, among others, birds such as long-necked gerenuk, and Somali ostrich among others present and spread across the park, expect a day of endless adventure, and surprises. Not to miss any sight, there will be a picnic lunch break, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Samburu Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park.
After early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will checkout for a drive to Lake Nakuru national park, whose fame has risen beyond the dominant pink flamingos, but now to the rare white and black rhinos, yet not forgetting the large herds of African cape Buffalos. Through the journey to the park, you will cross the giant great rift valley, where you will stop for photography and sight-seeing.
You will arrive at the lodge for lunch and then afternoon birding at the shoreline of Lake Nakuru, decorated by the rare pink flamingoes.
Day 7: Game drive and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.
At day crack, you will set out of the lodge very early in the morning for a 3-4 hour sunrise game drive within the park; admiring the happy plants, breathtaking landscape, and morning grazers taking to the field, notably; elephants, zebras, hippos, and warthogs among others; Birds such as the flamingos, kingfisher and Sitatunga and many more.
Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an exit drive to Masai Mara reserve. Lunch will be en-route, with a magnificent view of the plantations and the Great Rift Valley.
Day 8: Full day game drive.
Today, you will Wake up early morning for a delicious cup of coffee, followed by a full day game drive to encounter the profusion for wildlife, prey, and predators. Masai Mara is an extension of the vast Serengeti national park, thus being a rescue for millions of wildebeests, and thousands of zebras among others during their annual migration.
Research indicates that this park has the highest concentration of lions in Africa, and the visitors get the chance to sight not only lions, but also impalas, leopards, cheetah, elephants, several antelope species and cape Buffalos among others.
A picnic Lunch break and brief refreshment, before spending the last hours of the day by the shoreline of the Mara river, an action point during the annual wildebeest migration, with each migrant seeking survival. The day ends with a campfire, dinner, and a nap.
Day 9: Morning bird watching and culture experience.
Wake up like a king and partake of the ready cup of a coffee set. Thereafter, join your park ranger for a rewarding two-hour birding experience, in search of rare species notably the ostrich, lovebirds, and egrets among others. Thereafter, you will relax for lunch, before an existing afternoon encounter with the Masai warriors whose identity is connected to cattle.
After enjoying the African drum beat, drama and stories, you will have a sunset drive to the lodge for dinner and a night of overnight sleep.
Day 10: Departure.
After enjoying a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge, you will bid farewell and checkout of Masai Mara national reserve for your drive back to Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your onward journey.
