Overview.
Into one of the true wildernesses in the world, these three days flying safari to kidepo valley national park is perfectly planned to your taste and preference. Kidepo valley national park is the furthest national park in Uganda; located at the corner of northern Uganda, thus traveling by air makes the transfer comfortable, safer and easier, with no interference of noise, dust or scorching heat.
The park seats in a semi-arid area, yet with large concentration of mammals including four of Africa’s big 5 namely; lions, elephants, leopards, and Buffaloes, rare birds such as the ostrich, and a very breathtaking landscape. In the four days, you will have a game drive, bird watching, cultural encounter, and photography. This trip starts in Entebbe and ends at the point of your choice.

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe and fly to Kidepo Valley National Park.
This trip starts at the airport, with arrival and briefing by the tour guide on your arrival. You will be told of the entire tour plan, before exiting to get a chattered flight to Kidepo valley national park-a 1-2 hour flight.
On arrival, you will be briefed and then transferred to the lodge for lunch, refreshment, and then an evening game drive to catch up with the predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas in their night duty. After a 3-4 hour game drive, you will enjoy dinner and a campfire before retiring to bed for dinner and a nap.
Day 2: Full day Game drive.
At daybreak, you will greet your intestines with a lip-smacking breakfast meal, before heading for a rewarding full-day game drive across the kidepo valley, and the entire park. First, you will appreciate the breathtaking landscape, and then the profusion of mammals such as the elephants, zebras, impalas, giraffes, warthogs, and several antelope species among others, but not forgetting the lions and leopards and leopards on a good day, Birds such as the ostrich, geenefowls, and love birds among others, unique plants such as the Borassus, and weather among others. You will have a lunch break, and then dinner at sunset, before a peaceful nap.
Day 3: Cultural encounter and departure.
At daybreak, you will first enjoy the amazing sunrise, and the sight of the mammals spread at the kidepo valley from the Apoka viewpoint. Thereafter breakfast follows, then a drive to the community found outside the park to learn, and get entertained through their dance, songs, and social life.
The community living outside the park is the Karamojongs people, with a strong connection with their culture, as well as ancestral practices. They are herdsmen whose livelihood is dependent on the cattle products such as milk, and skin.
