3 Days Kibale forest national park safari

3 DAYS KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK SAFARI.
Overview.
It is time to make a trip to where scientists claim was our origin; a visit to your cousins in the spoiled Kibale forest national park, home to over 13 primate species co-existing together. We have a team of experts who are ready to make your trip one worth a memory, and story.
You will track the Chimpanzees, visit Bigodi swamp; one of the country’s most diverse Ramsar sites, and the reptile village to encounter snakes, tortoise, and many more. The trip starts and ends at Entebbe international airport, with attention put on time management.
Details.
Day 1: Pickup, Visit reptile village and transfer to Kibale national park.
Pickup from the airport will be as soon as you land from the plane. This will be by an expert driver-guide who will be waiting with a placard inscribed on your name. He will brief you about the trip, and then visit the reptile Village to learn more about the different reptile species inhabiting the wild; notably, different snake species, tortoise, and chameleons among others.
Lunch follows, before proceeding with the drive to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee trekking the following day. Enroute is marked by flourishing vegetation and crater lakes among others. You will arrive at the lodge late in the evening for refreshment, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland exploration.
After a sunrise breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters for registration and pre trekking Briefing; an exercise that lasts for about 30mins. Chimpanzees are rare Apes, and man’s closest relatives, with over 98% human-like genes, sound so nice and behave more like humans. Chimpanzee trekking lasts for approximately 1-6 hours deep into the Jungle, where not only do you meet the chimps, but also several other primates such as the Columbus monkeys, baboons, and the grey-cheeked monkeys among others.
After the chimpanzee trekking experience, you will retrieve from the park for lunch, and then spend the evening at Bigodi swamp, watching the birds, other primates such as the baboons, and several others, but not forgetting the locals carrying on with their daily chores. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
After enjoying a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge, you will bid farewell to your friends and then hit the road to Kampala or Entebbe, with an enroute stopover for Lunch.
End of safari.
