Activities in this trip include among others boat cruise, game drive, and a cultural encounter at Igongo cultural center; a hub to a variety of western cultures. The memories are made from the airport on day one to the last drop-off day. Accommodation, transfers, meals, and other services arrive as you expect.
Overview.
Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo national park and afternoon Igongo cultural experience.
Kick start your trip with a warm welcome from our company driver guide at the airport of any agreed point. Get briefed and enjoy a glass of Juice, before hitting the road to Lake Mburo national park; a 3-4 hour drive through busy streets, and a route marked by rolling hills, green vegetation, and scattered homesteads. You will arrive at Igongo cultural center where it is all about culture.
There will be Lunch, followed by a cultural museum tour, showcasing a selection of several cultural items from the entire western region. This day ends with dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Early in the morning, you will greet your intestines with a hefty breakfast meal at the lodge, and then a 3-4 hour drive to the vast park, rewarded with plenty of flora and fauna, as well as birds. The majority of the residents in this park are antelope species namely; the impalas, Uganda Kobs, waterbuck and the Oribis among others, buffalos, elephants, and zebras among others, birds such as the sought after shoebill stock and many more.
You will have the best of your bush breakfast, followed by lunch at the lodge, before a rewarding 2-3 hour boat cruise in the vast Lake Mburo, watching crocodiles, Hippos, and several water birds among others. End this day with a peaceful dinner and sleep.
Day 3: Departure.
After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Entebbe to catch an exit flight. However upon reaching Kampala city, you will have a lunch break, and a city tour to the Uganda Museum and the African village cultural center to get some souvenirs. Arrival at the airport marks the end of this three days tour in Lake Mburo N/Park.
