Overview.
Venture into our 3 days Serengeti safari, for the chance to visit and discover the secret in one of the notable Safari Paradises in the World. When it comes to the World of classic safaris, Serengeti National Park is second to none and few places on Earth can match-up it. This Park is where large numbers of animals can be spotted at a close range and in every corner you visit, you will not be disappointed. Unmatched views of Masai giraffes, serval cats, lions, impalas, Cape buffaloes, spotted hyenas, common elands, leopards, golden jackals, Grant’s gazelles, Topis, black-backed jackals, Hippos Black rhinoceros, cheetahs, African wild dogs and many others are what you will be treated to during your visit of this Park.
For birders, a plethora of 600 bird species including the country’s endemic species like Rufous-tailed weavers, Fischer’s lovebirds and the grey-breasted spurfowl as well as many other outstanding species will make your visit memorable. One thing that will make you fall in love with Serengeti National Park and even recommend other visitors is the spectacle of the annual migration across vas plains of this park and the Masai Mara Reserve of Kenya. This is a breathtaking sight to behold. To spice up this safari, there will be an en-route visit of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Scenic drive from Arusha Town to Serengeti National Park.
In the morning, pick-up from your Hotel or Arusha Airport by a professional safari driver and be driven to Serengeti National Park. This life-changing journey lasts about 5 hours and arrival is in the afternoon for lunch at one of the classic safari lodge or tented camps.
Your first wildlife exploration (game drive) follows the hefty lunch and rewards you with great counts of Rhinos, wildebeests, cape buffaloes, zebras, elephants, lions, gazelles, hippos, kobs and common elands in addition to countless bird species that this African wilderness has to offer.
Drive back to the Lodge and bring your evening to a close with relaxation, dinner and slumber.
Day 2: Full day Serengeti National Park tour.
Serengeti Park game drives offer visitors with the extraordinary thrill of coming close to the animals in the wilderness. Early morning game drives in this park offers views of the big cats (leopards, lions and cheetahs) in addition to other outstanding animals that will blow your mind away. Have a cup of tea/coffee and embark on the unbeaten safari experience by watching a variety of game from an open-roof safari vehicle, with one of the Park rangers/guides to provide information on this iconic wildlife sanctuary.
The thrill of driving through the Park while searching for big five animals and other outstanding predators (especially serval cats and cheetahs) will leave you breathless but also empty in the stomach, making it a perfect time to drive back to the Lodge for breakfast.
Breakfast at the Lodge and leave with a lunch box to continue with the game drive for other wildlife such as olive baboons, Masai giraffes, common elands and lesser kudus among others in addition to bird species. Find a good spot for picnic lunch to replenish your energy and continue with your exploration. In the evening drive to the nearby Masai village for another dose of excitement. Dinner under the stars and around fire while being entertained as well as slumber awaits you at the Lodge/or Tented Camp.
Day 3: Return to Arusha Town via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Exit Serengeti National Park after an amazing breakfast and with a lunch box return to Arusha Town, via the magnificent Ngorongoro crater. This increases your chances of wildlife viewing with zebras, hippos and wildebeests roaming across the extensive plains of the Conservation Area. Arrive in the evening for drop-off at a Hotel or any other location.
